Booking Blitz Basics:

It can be intimidating to some people to pick up that phone & call people on a daily or weekly basis.  By having a team wide Monthly Booking Blitz, we are going to help get YOU over that fear and show you the money that comes from doing Booking Blitzes on a regular basis.

We are sharing lots of information here, but don't get overwhelmed...it's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

  • 1. Prepare: Get your calendar ready so you will know what dates you have open.  Then prepare your list of who you want to call.  Think past hostesses, customers or if you are new to the business, think those friends and family that would really love having a party!
  • 2. Do! Set your times that you are going to BLITZ and then go for it!  Have your CUSTOM scripts in front of you. Make it fun by getting together with other team members either in person or online and keep cheering each other on!  You can do this!
  • 3. Follow Through:  We all have great intentions and the people that seem to easily get more from their businesses know the importance of FOLLOW THROUGH!  Make those calls, book those parties and then follow up with all your new hostesses to make sure you give them the best possible party with great hostess coaching!

With every call you make, you need to remember to celebrate YOUR success!

If you're going to be booking on the phone below are some great phone scripts that WORK, just be creative and FILL in the BLANKS!

The Team's booking blitz is almost here! So far youíve started putting together a big list of names to call and youíve highlighted all your open dates. Now itís time to start practicing what youíre going to say when you pick up the phone. Below youíll find sample scripts that weíve found to work really well in the past.

There are 3 parts to a Booking Script.

1.First youíll do is grab her attention. 2.Next youíll tell her what you have to offer. 3.Finally youíll offer her a date.

Grab her attentionÖ.

ēHey! This is ________ with Passion Parties! Iíve only got a second so Iíll have to be quick. Iím in a contest. Weíre trying to see who can give away the most free stuff in (JANUARY)(the next 2 weeks)(next month)!
ēHi, _______! This is ________ with Passion Parties and I really need your help! Iím in a contest to give away a bunch of free stuff and I want you to get it! You were such a fantastic hostess for me last time so I want you to have first choice!
ē Hey! This is _________ with Passion Parties and Iím soooo excited! Iíve only got a second so Iíll have to make this fast. Iím in a contest for one hour and Iíve only got a few minutes left! Weíre trying to see who can book the most parties in one hour and Iím only 2 parties behind!
ēHi, _______! Iím so glad youíre home. Iím in a contest so Iíll have to hurry! Youíre not going to believe what Iím up toÖ.I just signed up to do Passion Parties and all the new consultants are in a competition to see who give away the most for free in the next 2 weeks!

Tell her what you have to offer!

ēIf you book a party with me right now you can get a big bonus! In addition to your free product, there are 6 bonus items you can earn, AND you get ______________!!!

Offer a choice of dates depending on when YOU want her to book. RememberÖ.the ďrulesĒ can change when you decide. You may be open Remember that this is YOUR business and you are making the rules. For example you may start with a script that offers a choice of weekend or weeknight dates, but as your weekends fill up youíll want to make a change. Instead of moving further out into your calendar to continue offering weekend dates you can change the scriptÖ..suddenly a promotion for ďanyĒ open date can turn into a weeknight only promotion or one with a deadline. You are in charge. Each person you call has no idea what you offered the person before her.

ēIíve only got a couple of spots left. Whatís better for your group, a weekend or weeknight? Great! Iíve got ____ and ____ open.
ēWhat works better for your group, a Tuesday or Sunday afternoon? Great! Iíve got ____ and ____ open.
ē This promotion ends on the ___th so letís see where we can squeeze you in. What works for you the ___, ___ or ___th?
ēLetís pick a date. Did you want a little for free or a lot for free? This time of year hostesses seem to get more for free when they book on a ______. Iíve got ____ and ____. Which one works for you?
ē**Iíve got a couple of bonus dates that will get you an automatic prize of __________! Do you want a regular date or a bonus date? (see explanation)

**When you have a spot in your calendar that you find challenging to book, like an open spot 5 days from now or maybe a Monday night for example, turn it into a bonus date and sweeten the deal a little more. You decide with the bonus ďtreatĒ will be. It could be one of the hostess rewards, a free product, or possibly a big discount. You decide.

Here is an example of what it will sound like when you put it all together.

Hey Ginger! This is Beth with Passion Parties! Iíve only got a second so Iíll have to be quick. Iím in a contest. Weíre trying to see who can give away the most free stuff in the next two weeks! I want to win so if you book a party with me right now you can get a big bonus! In addition to your free product, there are 6 bonus items you can earn, AND you get ______________!!! Iíve only got a couple of spots left. Do you want Tuesday the 7th or Monday the 13th?

What if she says no?

Oh thatís OK Mandy. I understand. I still want to give you some free products though. Do you know anyone who might want to book a party? Iíll give you a referral bonus for each person who books a party! If 3 people book Iíll go ahead and give you the __________ ! Does anyone come to mind?

Less is more. Your goal is to generate excitement and book her! Donít get into a detailed description of what she has to do to get the prizes. All you need to do is get her on the calendar committed to a date and you can do the coaching later. Sheíll get all the details she needs then. Keep the calls simple and quick!

For the last few days weíve been gearing up for our TEAM'S booking blitz! In the last few emails you learned:

What is a TEAM booking blitz?

This is where we as a team will donate time to book parties for our Passion Party business. This Blitz is a little different than others you might have been involved in before with Passion Parties. IT's a 3 day long booking blitz...where you can use many different methods to book.
Phone Calls, Snail Mail, texting, Facebook, Email Blasting.

What time is the blitz?

Starts Tuesday December 28th at 12 am til December 30th 12 pm (this is according to YOUR time zone)

What if I get nervous and donít know what to say?

Everyone, even Leaders, get butterflies in their stomachs when they move out of their comfort zones and decide to pick up that phone, or send out a MASS email Blast. Weíve provided some great "TIPS" over the last few days to help you.

Just remember there will be hundreds of other consultants booking parties during these 3 days.... Weíre all in this together! Once you get started itís actually quite fun and always easier than you think.

What if I don't have time?

MAKE TIME!!! This is your business! This 3 days can totally make your future business. Loading up your planner now with parties will give you a huge head start on the Valentine's Day and Spring season! Even if you book 2 parties, it's 2 you didn't have and they could lead to a huge string of parties, tons of sales and new team members! You deserve to do this for yourself and you will be so proud!

What if I CANíT do the blitz?

Good question! If you have a prior commitments on these 3 days, like parties, work or traveling, then you still CAN do the blitz. Only the parties booked within that allotted 3 days will count toward our BIGGEST BOOKER GIFT. Youíve got the scripts. Youíve got a fantastic hostess program and FABULOUS V-day brochure, just do it. Commit an hour or two to your business and make it happen on your own time!

What if I have a small contact list?

That's OK! Call FRANK! Friends, Relatives, Acquaintances, Neighbors, other Kid's moms. When you sit down and start making the list youíll be surprised how fast it grows. There is a script that will help you get referrals included in the training, too. Letís say you call the only 10 names you can think of and get only one party booked. You got a party! Celebrate! That one can lead to a dozen more!

How do I report my results?

Book when YOU want to book!

The TEAM's booking blitz is getting closer and closer! Tuesday DECEMBER 28th is just a few days away. So far youíve started putting your list together of names to call, youíve highlighted your open dates and youíve even started to practice what youíre going to say when you make your calls. There is one thing left you need to decide. What are you going to say when they reply with ďbut I need to check with my friendsĒ or some other excuse to avoid choosing a date? Help is here! Here are a few scripts that will help you get over that hurdle and learn to be a GREAT party booker!


Most common Ė ďLet me check with my friends.Ē
I understand. I wouldnít know when to book either if someone called me out of the blue. Tell you what...letís see if we can narrow it down so when you talk to your friends youíll know what I have available. (offer open dates) Just pick any old silly date so that I can hold a spot for you and Iíll be able to count you in our contest. Iíll write it in pencil for now so that you can talk to your friends and Iíll call you tomorrow to make sure the date works for you.

I need more time to plan Ė I understand. You want to have a good party and I WANT you to have a good party so Iíve gotta tell yaÖ.itís actually better to pick a close date because everyone knows what theyíre doing this Tuesday. They have no idea what theyíre doing 5 Saturdays from now. They tend to forget and make other plans. When you book a fast party people can give you a definite yes or no answer when you invite.

I'm too busy. - ďI know! Holidays are so crazy! Are your friends really busy, too? You know what? If everybody is really busy you might not get to see each other til SPRING unless you plan it. You get a guaranteed night with the girls AND you get free stuff!

I don't know many people. - That's OK. I like to a have a couple of big shows and a couple of small shows every month. You can be one of my smaller shows. How does that sound? (You can also ask her if she has a friend she would like to co-host with. That takes the pressure off, too.)

Answering Machines and Voicemail Ė You are going to get a lot of these when youíre calling so be prepared. (Avoid saying Passion Parties on voicemail because you donít know who is listening to it. It could be children or she may have even given you a work number on her order form.)

Someone you met at a party:
Hi _____! This is _____ from ______ís party in March. I'm doing something fun so I thought of you. I'm in the middle of a contest called WINTER BLITZ. I hope you get this before all my open dates fill up! You can reach me at 123-456-7890.

Referral:
Hi Jane this is Brenda. You donít know me yet. My number is (XXX)XXX-XXXX. Iím calling because Mary White gave me your number. She said you are one of the most fun people she knows and that you just might be interested in some of my free products. Again my name is Brenda and my number is (XXX)XXX-XXXX.

Past Hostess:
Hi ______! This is ______. You arenít going to believe what weíre up to! I had so much fun doing your party in Oct you were one of the first people I thought of to call. I hope I can reach you before we run out of spots! Call me back quickÖ.123-456-7890.

Tip! Remember to say your name very clearly and your number very slowly anytime you leave it on an answering machine.
